ASTM Standard D2729 Specification
Perforation- For the perforated pipe the hole diameter and the distance between hole centers shall be measured with a steel rule with at least 1-mm (1/16-inch) graduations.  The angle between the two rows of holes shall be measured with an index head capable of measuring accurately to within 1 degree.
