Select location over insulation joints. |

Cut 4" hole through flets and insulation. Do not puncture vapor barrier (If used). |

Center vent over opening. Embed in asphalt cement or steep asphalt. Keep opening free of materials. |

4.
|
Flash base flange with 2 plys of felt, asphalt cement, or steep asphalt. Extend first ply of felt 6" beyond flange and the second ply 9" beyond flange. |

5.
|
Pour flood coat of bituman and gravel to the base of the roof vent. |
