Hayward PVC and CPVC products are suitable for use with potable water and are consistent with the National Sanitation Foundation and Canadian Standards Association standards.

Hayward plastic valves and flow control products are immune to corrosion. They are dielectric - meaning they will not support a charge and will remain free from the ionization and corrosion that occurs with metal valves.
3 Extended Service Life Back to the top
Hayward plastic valves will outlast most metal valves, and are not affected by normal weather conditions. they will provide years of maintenance-free service.
4 Low Thermal Conductivity Back to the top
Hayward plastic valves have a high flow coefficient and, as compared to metal, will absolutely not pit, rust or corrode. Their interior walls are molded with an ultra-smooth finish that will remain smooth throughout the valves service life - resulting in more consistent flow rates over time.

Hayward process control products are capable of handling corrosive chemical at elevated temperatures - up to 250F with glass fiber reinforced PPL.

Hayward plastic valves and flow control products are generally 1/3 to 1/2 the weight of similar size and type metal valves. They are easy to install and result in reduced handling, labor, freight, and installation costs.

Hayward plastic valves are energy efficient. it take about half the energy to produce a Hayward plastic valve as a comparably sized metal one.
