Protects Pumps on Loss of
Flow
Applications of Flow in Either
Direction
Superior Chemical Resistance
- Choice of materials: PVC, PPL, or PVDF to suit a variety of
applications
Rugged Construction
Very Low Pressure Drop in
the Fluid
The Model 2600 Flow Switch has been designed to shut off
an electrical device if process flow slows. A typical application would
be to protect a pump from running dry or pumping against a closed valve.
The low-drag 5-bladed Halar rotor has a single permanent
magnet encapsulated into one blade. As the magnet passes by the Hall-effect
transducer, an output pulse is generated. When the pulse frequency drops
below a factory preset value corresponding to 0.5 ft/sec, an internal relay
is actuated.
