| The FloSite Batch Controller is available for accurate
and reliable automatic batching or blending of liquids for applications
in food and beverage processing, chemical processing and water treatment.
The Model 2400 is operated in conjunction with a FloSite 2000 flow sensor. Batch volume to be delivered is entered via the front panel keypad. For dual batching, two setpoints can be entered for applications where a two-stage shutdown of process filling is required. Setpoints can be changed during counting. Batch operation and relays are initiated by: manually pressing the reset key on the keypad, remote start, or programmed auto reset for continuous batching. Once initiated, the controller will count down the batch to zero. When the batch volume is dispensed, the controller's relays are released to shut down valves or pumps. Similar to other FloSite digital monitors, the Model 2400 is easily programmed and calibrated through the front panel keypad. |

| For minimizing the harmful effects of water hammer in large diameter piping, a FloSite 2000 Flow Sensor and an automatic shut-off valve are located in the primary piping. A dampening loop (of a smaller pipe diameter than the primary piping) and solenoid valve are used to bypass the primary shut-off valve. A FloSite 2400 Batch Controller is used to dispense typically 90% of the required batch (Batch 1) and shut off the valve in the primary piping. The remaining 10% of the required batch (Batch 2) is then dispensed, after which the batch controller closes the solenoid valve in the dampening loop. |
