+GF+ SIGNET 2450 Pressure Sensor with Ultra-Low Range
+GF+ SIGNET
now offers an ultra-low version of the 2450 Pressure Sensor. It boasts
an operational range of 0 to 10 psig. Use it with the 8450 Pressure Transmitter,
with increased decimal point resolution, and this +GF+SIGNET system is
ideal for measuring level in tanks!
Typical
applications include:
• UPW
storage tank levels
• Chemical
batch tank levels
• Effluent
storage tank levels
With
excellent zero-point stability and simple "1-point" calibration, system
set-up is a breeze! Of course, proper grounding techniques are always recommended
to achieve maximum measurement reliability -- especially with these very
sensitive sensors. For best results, choose one of the following examples
as the grounding configuration for your system.

All pressure
sensors now have a nion end connection, making it possible to adapt to
piping systems without the need for an NPT connection. You can also use
the 3-2100 end connector kits to adapt the sensors to PVC, PP, or PVDF
piping systems. The union connection has the benefit of significantly reducing
sensor nosepiece stress.

Tip:
In
order to maximize system accuracy and simplify setup, +GF+Signet recommends
the folowing when installing 2450/8450 Pressure devices:1.
Install the sensor in the piping system or tank
2.
Ground the system as shown above
3.At
atmospheric pressure, calibrate the 8450 to 0.00 p.s.i.g
