Trutorq Series pneumatic actuators feature innovative rack and pinion technology and performance. We have established a reputation for innovation in design, excellence in manufacturing and are dedicated to customer satisfaction. Our policy of investing in the most advanced manufacturing technology available allows us to continually improve the efficiency of our manufacturing process and the quality of our products. Both our Standard Series and CNI Series have become the benchmark for quarter turn actuator performance and reliabilty.

The unique CNI Series actuator which features a complete internal and external nickel impregnation was developed to enhance the actuator's performance in externally corrosive environments. The auto catalytic nickel bath process features a uniform deposit of nickel on all wetted surfaces and is controlled to a thickness of 1 micron. During the deposition process, once the primary layer of nickel has formed on the actuator substrate, that layer and each subsequent layer becomes the catalyst that causes the reaction to continue until the uniform thickness is achieved.

    Trutorq series actuators feature:

  • An ISO 9000 approved manufacturing process.
  • A Lloyds register factory certified quality assurance process.
  • An ISO 5211 mounting flange allowing direct mounting to butterfly valves thus eliminating the need for mounting hardware.
  • 100% computer controlled torque testing under full actuator load.
  • Unique twin guide bars that are designed to securely anchor the pistons to the pinion shaft.
  • Unique patented encapsulated springs that are housed within the pistons reducing the overall actuator length.
  • Strategically placed triple shaft bearings.
  • Namur solenoid mounting pads.
  • Namur mounting for positioners and proximity switchboxes.
  • A body adapter kit with an external cam adjustment allowing for 2.5 degrees over travel adjustment in both directions.
  • An internally mounted blowout proof pinion shaft.
