The Fusion Pipe Welders are electric tubular heaters cast in aluminum, mounted on a clampable base and controlled by a stepless rheostat. The unit is useful for both shop and field welding of PE, PP and PVDF pipes and couplings. The fusion welder CANNOT be used on PVC or ABS pipe. The Fusion Pipe Welder is available in two sizes: LFW-1 for pipe from 1/2" to 2" I.P.S. and for pipe from 16mm to 63mm and LFW-2 for pipe from 3" to 4" I.P.S. and for pipe from 75mm to 110mm. The unit comes with a control box which regulates the temperature. The "Ryton" coated dies are optional items and come in male/female sets. Individual replacement dies are also available. A mounting bolt, nut and washer is provided for securing the dies to the welders.
